As a centre for scientific and technological research in all matters concerned with hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, the Spanish National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) takes an active part in different industry forums, both on the national an international level.
NATIONAL LEVEL

PTe H2 – Spanish Hydrogen Technology Platform
The CNH2 is a member of the Working Group on ‘Uses of H2 in electrical networks, buildings, auxiliary, backup and power systems’; deputy coordinator of the Working Group on ‘Hydrogen storage, transport and distribution’; and deputy coordinator of the National Collaboration Working Group.

AeH2– Spanish Hydrogen Association
The CNH2 is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Hydrogen Association.

APPICE – Spanish Fuel Cell Association
The CNH2 is a member of the Governing Board of the Spanish Fuel Cell Association.

PESI – Spanish Industrial Safety Technology Platform
An industry-led association backed by various government bodies. Its aim is to involve companies (corporations, SMEs, engineering firms, consultancies and service and technology providers), technology centres and universities in European and national innovation, technological development and R&D programmes in the field of industrial safety and resilience, taking a comprehensive approach.

FUTURED – Spanish Electricity Grid Platform
The Spanish Technology Platform for Electrical Networks was created in 2005 with the aim of bringing together all stakeholders in the electrical sector to define and promote strategies at the national level.

PTFE – Spanish Railway Technology Platform
The Spanish Railway Technology Platform is a tool at the service of the railway sector, led by the industry, to define the long-term vision and strategic research agenda.

MOVE2FUTURE – Spanish Automotive and Mobility Technology Platform
Move to Future is the Spanish Automotive and Mobility Technology Platform, whose objective is to serve as an instrument for developing and monitoring initiatives among the different stakeholders involved.

UNE – Spanish Association for Standardisation
The CNH2 is a member of UNE and participates in the following Technical Standardisation Committees: Secretary since 2013 of CTN 222 – Fuel Cell Technologies and Member of CTN 181 – Hydrogen Technologies and CTN 218 – Electrical Energy Storage Systems.

ALINNE – Alliance for Energy Research and Innovation
The CNH2 is a member of the Strategy Delegate Committee of the Alliance for Energy Research and Innovation.

Virtual platform focused on renewable hydrogen and its entire value chain.

CRECEMOS – Renewable Fuels and the Circular Economy in Spain for Sustainable Mobility
Association created to promote the circular economy in Spain and the use of renewable fuels as an option that is already available and complementary to other alternatives for decarbonising all segments of transport.

AEAR – Spanish Association of Renewable Ammonia
Association promoting the production, marketing and responsible use of ammonia.

AGH2 – Galician Hydrogen Association
An organisation created with the aim of developing sustainable technologies that enable energy independence from external sources, reduce CO₂ emissions and decarbonise industry.

H2CYL – Castile and León Hydrogen Association
Association seeking to deploy hydrogen technologies as a means of achieving energy transition and decarbonisation of the economy.

Andalusian Hydrogen Association
The Andalusian Hydrogen Cluster is the first association dedicated to hydrogen-based technology as an energy source in the region of Andalusia.

HSHYNE – Spanish Hydrogen Network
Association made up of companies and organisations interested in promoting large-scale green hydrogen projects in Spain.
INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

European Clean Hydrogen Alliance
Created in 2020 as part of the European Union’s Hydrogen Strategy to support the large-scale deployment of clean hydrogen technologies by 2030.

Hydrogen Europe Research
An international association comprising more than 150 universities and organisations from 29 countries. Its main objective is to coordinate and promote research and the European public agenda related to hydrogen and fuel cells. Hydrogen Europe Research forms the Clean Hydrogen Partnership together with the European Commission and Hydrogen Europe.

IEA – Internacional Energy Agency
The CNH2 is a member of the International Energy Agency’s AFC-TCP. This is an international network dedicated to coordinating research, development and comparative assessment of electrochemical conversion technologies, mainly fuel cells and electrolysers. AFC-TCP: Advanced Fuel Cells – Technology Collaboration Programme.

EERA – European Energy Research Alliance
The CNH2 is a member of the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) and forms part of the Joint Programme Fuel Cells and Hydrogen.

hySafe – Internacional Association for Hydrogen Safety
The CNH2 participates as a member of the Working Groups of the International Association for Hydrogen Safety.
