The Spanish National Hydrogen Centre participated on 27 October in the “Redes que Impulsan – Encuentro con Empresas” event, organised by Ayuda en Acción at the Puertollano Cultural Centre as part of its Impulsa Empleo Joven programme. The event brought together young people, companies, training organisations and institutional representatives with the aim of promoting employability, facilitating access to the labour market and creating new professional opportunities in the region.
Representing CNH2, Ana Blanca Cortecero Real, Head of the Human Resources Department, delivered a presentation entitled “Recruitment Processes”, in which she shared her experience in human resources management and provided participants with insights into how staff recruitment procedures work within organisations.
During her presentation, Ana explained some of the aspects that companies value when recruiting new professionals and offered practical recommendations on how to approach recruitment processes, with the aim of helping young people improve their preparation and their chances of entering the labour market.
The event featured various activities designed to encourage direct contact between participants and the business community, including a cross-sector employment panel, speed dating sessions with companies and networking opportunities. These activities enabled participants to exchange experiences, learn about current labour market needs and establish professional contacts.
The event, which brought together more than fifty participants, was attended by representatives from various public administrations and local companies, highlighting the importance of collaboration between organisations in promoting youth employment and facilitating the integration of new professional profiles into the workforce.
“Redes que Impulsan” is part of Impulsa Empleo Joven, a free programme run by Ayuda en Acción aimed at young people aged between 16 and 29 who are neither studying nor working, offering personalised guidance, training and support pathways to facilitate their access to employment.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the programme operates in Ciudad Real and Puertollano, where it has supported 202 young people, 91 of whom have accessed employment or training opportunities. In Puertollano, 36 young people have found employment thanks to this initiative.
The programme is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), through the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, and also receives funding in Castilla-La Mancha from the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha.
The National Hydrogen Centre would like to thank Ayuda en Acción and all the organisations involved for the invitation to participate in this event.
