CNH2 takes part in the “Hydrogen Workshop: Innovation, mobility and clean energy” held in Bembibre (León)
The Spanish National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) took part in the event Hydrogen Workshop: Innovation, mobility and clean energy, held in Bembibre (León), a meeting that brought together representatives from industry, public administration and the research community to explore the latest developments and opportunities within the hydrogen ecosystem.
As part of the Centratec programme, this event was organised by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICECYL) in collaboration with the region’s technology centres, with the aim of strengthening innovation, digitalisation, sustainability and technology transfer within Castile and León’s business community.
The event provided a space for dialogue and exchange on the role of hydrogen in the energy transition, with particular attention to solutions linked to sustainable mobility and clean energy.
As part of the programme, our colleague Alberto Aguilar, representing CNH2, delivered a presentation on innovative hydrogen-based mobility solutions and introduced the IH-MIE project, funded under the I3-2024-INV1 call, Interregional Innovation Investments Instrument (I3), presenting its objectives and its contribution to the development of new applications in this field.
In addition, attendees had the opportunity to experience a real-life application of this technology through a test ride in the Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen-powered vehicle, which helped bring the current possibilities of this energy source in the mobility sector closer to the public.
CNH2’s participation in this event helped strengthen collaboration among key stakeholders in the sector and foster the exchange of specialised knowledge.
