CNH2 and the Mexican Hydrogen Society A.C. sign a long-term cooperation agreement during the European Hydrogen Energy Conference 2026

The Spanish National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) and the Mexican Hydrogen Society A.C. have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening international collaboration in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells.

The signing took place on March 11, within the framework of the European Hydrogen Energy Conference 2026, held at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES). The agreement was signed by Emilio Nieto Gallego, Director of CNH2, and Dr. José Ysmael Verde Gómez, President of the Mexican Hydrogen Society A.C. and professor-researcher at TECNM – Cancún Institute of Technology.

Through this agreement, both entities express their interest in establishing long-term cooperative relations to promote and foster joint activities in the academic, scientific and research fields, while also encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two institutions.

The different forms of cooperation covered by this agreement include the exchange of students and teaching staff, the development of research projects, the exchange of information, documentation, and educational and scientific publications, as well as the organisation of study meetings, seminars and symposiums.

In addition, the agreement foresees the possibility of joint participation in international consortia for the implementation of academic and scientific research projects, as well as any other form of collaboration that both parties may agree upon in the future.

In this way, CNH2 continues to expand its international reach and open itself up to new markets and strategic partners, such as the Mexican Hydrogen Society A.C.
