Project aim
Led by Talgo, Hympulso’s partners also include Golendus, Ingeteam, Optimus3D, Repsol and Sener. The Pontifical University of Comillas and Tecnalia are acting as collaborators, whilst Adif will serve as an observer.
The aim is to develop, manufacture and test the dual-hybrid hydrogen-battery traction system on a Talgo 250 train set, intended for long-distance operations on mixed routes: partly electrified and non-electrified.
