The specific aim is to manufacture a prototype waste compactor collector on a heavy-duty chassis-platform with 100% electric propulsion powered by a hybrid hydrogen cell and lithium-ion battery system that is completely environmentally friendly, with the ambitious objective that this hybrid chassis can be applied in the future to any equipment or machine that provides urban service regardless of the number and arrangement of axles or the bodywork installed on it. Likewise, a mobile hydrogen compression station will be developed that will allow the prototype vehicle to be refuelled anywhere and therefore be able to work and be tested in any location.
