Seville will host the last dissemination event of the IMPROVEMENT project, in which the partners will present the conclusions and progress made in the research carried out in the pilot plants<\/p>\n

The results will be presented over three work sessions, which will also lay the foundations for future projects.<\/p>\n

The Sudoe IMPROVEMENT project<\/a>, coordinated by Spanish National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2<\/a>), aimed at the integration of combined microgrids in public buildings for their conversion into buildings with almost zero energy consumption (nZEB), will hold its final event on March 7 at the Ribera de Triana Hotel located in Seville. Over three sessions, the different partners who have been an active part of the project will present the final results after the research work and implementation in the pilot plants in Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the first session, the Andalusian Energy Agency (AEA<\/a>) will present a proposal for an implementation plan that will contain the details for the implementation of the actions aimed at achieving more renewable and efficient public buildings. Likewise, the Good Practices Guide will be exposed, a document aimed at administrators, maintainers, managers of energy and resources and users of public buildings, which will provide the most suitable guidelines for the use of the technological solutions proposed in the Sudoe IMPROVEMENT project to achieve a more responsible energy consumption.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moving on to the second part of this final event, three working groups have been organized on the main topics that have been addressed within the Sudoe MPROVEMENT project<\/a>. The first one will deal with energy efficiency strategies in the different areas of the SUDOE region of the project. The second one will deal with the role of hydrogen energy storage and its role as an energy vector for different applications. Finally, the use of microgrids and energy management systems in public buildings will be addressed, mainly analyzing those buildings with critical loads.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to the different topics raised from the Sudoe IMPROVEMENT project<\/a>, this event will also serve to disseminate the SOLE project, in which the Andalusian Energy Agency (AEA) participates together with other entities from Italy, Greece, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia. In the case of SOLE, its objective is to promote the exchange of knowledge in sustainable construction with the countries of the southern shore of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n
