style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project focuses on developing strategic hydrogen-based initiatives to transform the current energy paradigm and minimise greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CLM project, part of the green energy and hydrogen mission, is an energy transition project structured from a circular economy perspective. It brings together innovative solutions for the generation of green hydrogen through low-temperature electrolysis and the energy recovery of waste from various local industries and residues from nearby urban waste treatment plants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The objectives set out in this initiative are fully aligned with the relevant European (Green Deal) and national (Agenda 2030) goals concerning: energy transition, industrial decarbonisation, waste recovery, climate neutrality, the promotion of renewable energy use, and the circular economy. The proposed solution involves: the recovery of waste in the form of biofuels through the use of biological processes; the promotion and use of renewable energy for H2 generation; the capture of CO2 streams; the conversion of biomethane for the production of H2 and CO2; the use and conversion of H2 and CO2 into biomethane for the storage, transport and subsequent use of H2; and, finally, the development of new fuel cell devices that operate more efficiently and cleanly.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" innovative tool in the field of R&amp;D&amp;I, designed to foster collaboration and align the use of regional, national and European funds through joint programmes that promote knowledge generation and technological innovation. They are implemented through joint funding measures between the State and the Autonomous Communities, through which major research projects will be launched in eight thematic areas considered strategic for the country, including energy and green hydrogen. The aim of this complementary plan is to develop strategic hydrogen-based actions to transform the current energy paradigm and minimise greenhouse gas emissions, incorporating and consolidating green hydrogen as a solution for the electrification of the national energy system and for the decarbonisation of transport and industry. The proposed actions aim to cover the entire hydrogen value chain through developments at various stages of maturity, ranging from pilot or demonstration-scale solutions to basic developments that will enable the replacement of foreign technology with domestic technology in the country\u2019s energy networks in the near future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supplementary schemes are funded jointly by the State and the autonomous communities. The State transfers the relevant funding to the autonomous communities, and it is the autonomous communities that are responsible for allocating the full amount of the funds to research
