align=\"justify\">The EXSIVA project focuses on the development of a series of mathematical models that describe the behavior of an alkaline electrolysis cell. The proposed models simulate the influence of different operating conditions due to fluctuating and great variability energy as solar PV or wind. These models are validated with in situ experimental data using cells with transparent windows that incorporate both usual electrical measurements to obtain the polarization curve and techniques of direct visualization of the flow as the PIV system (Particle Image Velocimetry). The influence of the considered variables (temperature, electrode\/diaphragm distance, electrolyte concentration, etc.) was quantified using sensitivity analysis in order to be able to raise operating strategies and design recommendations to increase the performance of an alkaline electrolysis cell.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\"
