><p>Hydrogen is the <strong>first element of the periodic table.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is the lightest chemical element that exists; the atom consists of one proton and one electron and is stable as a diatomic molecule (H2).<\/p>\n<p>Under normal conditions hydrogen is in gaseous state, and is tasteless, colorless and odorless.<\/p>\n<p>On Earth is abundant, it constitutes approximately 75% of matter in the universe, but is combined with other elements such as oxygen to form water molecules, or carbon to form organic compounds. This means that every community, even remote areas, can become an energy producer.<\/p>\n<p>When produced using renewable energy sources and powering highly efficient fuel cells, the environmental benefits of hydrogen are even greater. This is a key point for its introduction into the market and one of the main advantages and values of hydrogen as an energy carrier. It is a generally available and low cost technique. It requires very low temperatures and therefore greater insulation than normal, so that the cost can be high.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-1221eac516db0ec4212c9ed1c67cdf7b'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div id='tab-id-3-tab' class='tab' role='tab' aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" ><\/p>\n<h4>Metal hydrides<\/h4>\n<p><\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' role='tabpanel' aria-labelledby='tab-id-3-tab' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>It is a very secure system because hydrogen is stored into a solid (metal). The shape of the storage tanks can be adapted to the needs of each application. As metals are used for securing the gas, weights are raised considerably and its lifetime can be less.
